“Our school hosted Emily for a K-2 author visit recently. From the start, I was impressed by Emily's professionalism & communication in organizing her visit. At her visit, she was quickly able to gain the attention of our youngest readers & writers by sharing her beautiful story. The students greatly enjoyed getting to ask Emily questions about her writing process and even got to share their own ideas for stories. Emily was incredibly engaging, thoughtful, and kind. Our school loved having her visit and can't wait to have her back when her second book is complete!” -Bridget A.

“I am an assistant director at a "school house" inspired K-8 school, Bridgeport CT Center of the Arts. Emily Franke visited our small school, and to say it was amazing is an understatement. Her communication leading up to her visit was great. At her visit she was able to reach our students ages ranging 5-14, and even our staff was touched by her book, The Ladybug Who Lived on a Four Leaf Clover . In her visit she went beyond just the message of her book and was able to give us insight on the process of becoming an author. The book helped our school find a lighthearted way to help our students understand the people they've lost will always be around. Her book highlights the feeling of rememberance and does not just focus on grief. Our school cannot until she releases any future books, as we can't wait to have her back!” - Cami M.

“Emily was reading at the local library and one of our parents recommended her to me.
I am so glad I reached out to have her visit our school!
I am the director of The Goddard School in Glastonbury, CT and we had Emily come visit our preschool , pre k classrooms during the month of March, 2024. Each March we celebrate reading and teach the children about authors and illustrators during our Read Across Goddard!
Emily was so kind and interactive with our children, she really had a way to get along with young children!
I was so impressed not only with her as being a young author, but with how she knew how to captivate the children while allowing them to ask questions about herself and her story.
She is one of a kind !
I would highly recommend having Emily come to any classroom to read her delightful book to your children!” -Mary P.
